Description
The latest book from Vet School author, Chris ‘The Nerdy Vet’, Vet School Success is an autobiographical account of his experiences as a young, prospective vet student jumping through the various hoops on the road to becoming a vet student.
From the first inspirations for pursuing a career in veterinary, to academic concerns, work experience, applying to vet school and the ‘oh so tough to write’ personal statement, to interviews and offers, Vet School Success charts Chris’ personal experiences and offers advice and guidance that is valid for today’s future vet student. Including an account of Chris’ last minute Gap Year to his first year as a fresh-faced vet student, Vet School Success is an entertaining, informative and endearing account that is both fun to read and instructive.

Brilliant book, I have both editions of the ‘Getting your foot in the door – vet school’ books too but this one is really good as it doesn’t just tell you what to do but you can see that someone else has been through and experienced just what you’re doing! For example the ‘working through every workbook there ever was – voluntarily’ this just reassured me that I’m not the only one that’s aiming for veterinary that really has to work for the grades and of course having people ask me which books are best because I have them all!
Very easy to read during a break from revision!
Already recommended to everyone at my school!
Thankyou!

A fantastic book, manages to inform and motivate in a light-hearted tone. At a time where there are so few places at Vet school and yet such little information out there this book, along with the other edition, ‘My Foot In The Door’ offers invaluable support and advice to prepare the reader for success. Would definitely recommend this book to all aspiring vets, it has been a great, informative break from work and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, Thanks Chris for another great book!
